The heartrose Care Club is a school based emotional wellness initiative dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and providing support to students. it was founded in response to the growing need for emotional care and support among students recognizing the impact of mental health on academic performance and social well-being.

Heartrose is an initiative of Heartrose Care foundation under the umbrella of Heartrose
leadership Academy .

Mission: To Create a safe and supportive school space system where we can promote and restore emotional health through education and therapeutic supports.

Vision: To cultivate a culture of emotional in schools.

OUR AMBITION

One of our ambitions is to build CULTURE OF WELLNESS in schools among counsellors, teachers, students’ leaders and students. THIS IS A RESCUE MISSION from depression, suicide and its associative ills.

Roles & Responsibilities: Heartrose Leadership Academy Shall:Provide training and resources for club leaders and members.
Assist in planning and implementing wellness-focused activities. Conduct periodic assessments to measure impact and effectiveness. Offer mentorship and support for the club’s sustainability.

Governance & Meetings: The Heartrose Care Club shall have a student leadership team including a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Outreach and Wellness Coordinator. Regular meetings will be held (weekly/bi-weekly) to plan and review club activities.
An annual report shall be prepared to evaluate the club’s progress and outcomes.

OUR CORE VALUES OF THE HEARTROSE CARE CLUB

It is summed up as triple E and C:

  • EDUCATE – educate staff and students to identify early symptoms of depression and report for early diagnosis and treatment.
  • EMOTIONAL EMPOWERMENT – effective emotional enlightenment and empowerment to those already suffering from depression on what they need to do to manage, control and overcome
  • ENHANCE – to enhance the ability of patients to give their best in academic, family, workplace and society at large. Thereby enhancing life expectancy.
  • CARE giving care, attention and affirmation through counseling and therapeutic supports.
  • CURB – to curb suicidal tendency, social vices and menace lifestyles in our
  • COMPLEMENT – to complement the work of the school counsellor with emphasis on emotional health.

WHY HEARTROSE CARE CLUB?

  • Research has shown that emotional care clubs in schools can have a positive impact on students’ mental health and well-being. The clubs will provide a safe and supportive space for students to discuss their emotions, learn healthy coping mechanisms, and develop strong social connections.
